+20%The team that spent every evening moving tasks
A case team spent 30 minutes at the end of each day moving unfinished to-dos to the next day. Task lists kept growing and cases fell behind. Tom built a case management system, retrained the team to work toward each case's end result, and started measuring finished cases instead of activity. Closed cases went up 20% a year, two years running.
+18%The leads nobody entered
Incoming calls went straight to salespeople, who skipped the leads they didn't like, and many never made it into the CRM. Tom set up a front desk to answer every call, screen it, log it and pass qualified callers to the closers. On the same ad budget, 18% more leads made it into the system, the close rate went from 14% to 16%, and closed deals rose about 20%.
+24%Building the sales engine
At a firm with no real lead flow or lead management, Tom built both and ran the sales team. Revenue grew 24% the first year and 22% the next.
