My Journey & Background

Before I built a career helping small business owners with tax strategy and sustainable growth, I spent over a decade in film and television. I loved the creative challenge—but when my twin sons were born, I knew I needed a career that let me show up fully for my family.

Sales had always been a natural strength, and it led me into the world of tax resolution. I quickly rose to lead the sales team at a major firm, where I saw firsthand just how overwhelmed and unprepared many business owners were when it came to taxes.

Determined to offer more than just surface solutions, I studied nights and weekends, passed the rigorous IRS exams, and became an Enrolled Agent—a federally licensed tax expert. From there, I deepened my training under my mentor Mark J. Kohler and became a Main Street Certified Tax Pro, bringing elite-level strategies to everyday entrepreneurs.

Over the past 20 years, I’ve worked with thousands of clients—from solo startups to multi-million-dollar businesses—and I’ve seen what’s possible when small business owners stop reacting and start planning.

Now, through Accountable BC, I focus on proactive strategy: helping entrepreneurs reduce their tax burden, grow sustainable businesses, and create real wealth.
